Privacy Policy

It is important to SIA Printpack Service to protect the personal data of you, our customers and other Data Subjects. We are therefore committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of every Data Subject.

I. Key Concepts

  1. Website– a website located at www.printpack24.lv where the customer can leave a request for the goods or services provided and where the customer can consent to the processing of its personal data for direct marketing purposes;

Data Processing– means any activity or sequence of activities carried out by automated or non-automated means with the personal data or sets of personal data, such as collecting, registering, sorting, systematising, storing, adapting or modifying, obtaining, consultation, using, disclosing, sending, distributing or allowing them to be used otherwise, as well a comparison or combination with other data, as well as their restriction, deletion or destruction;
  4. Data Recipient– shall mean the natural person or legal entity, state body, agency or other body to whom the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, state bodies which may receive personal data in the context of a specific investigation in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be considered as recipients; when processing such data, those state bodies shall comply with the applicable data protection rules, which are consistent with the purposes of the processing;
  5. Data Processor– a natural person or legal entity who assists the Data Controller, in accordance with the powers conferred by the Data Controller, in achieving the specified objectives;
  6. Third Party – a natural person or legal entity, state body, agency or body other than the Data Subject, Data Controller, Data Processor or persons authorised to process personal data by the Data Controller or data processor directly;
  7. Consent of the Data Subject – any freely given, specific and unambiguous indication of the Data Subject’s properly informed will, by a statement or by express acts, by which he or she consents to the processing of personal data relating to him or her;
  8. Data Subject – a natural person whose personal data is processed.

II. Personal Data

1. Legal criteria for processing personal data

SIA SIA Printpack Service only collects and further processes your personal data on the basis of the legal background set out in the legislation regulating the protection of personal data:

  • with your consent;
  • to conclude and/or perform an Agreement with you.

2. Purposes of personal data processing

SIA SIA Printpack Service processes data for the purposes of administering enquiries and fulfilling direct marketing.

3. Personal data processed

SIA Printpack processes the following data:

  • With your consent to administer requests:
  • name,
  • surname,
  • phone number,
  • e-mail address,
  • comment/request,
  • residential address,
  • the time when a request is made to order goods.

The Data Controller confirms that the personal data processed for this purpose is not provided, however, in cases where the Data Subject orders goods by delivery, the Data Controller uses courier companies for this purpose.

The Data Subject is informed that it may withdraw the consent given to the processing of its personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time by clicking on the link contained in each e-mail sent or by submitting a request to the Data Controller by e-mail to printpack@printpack.lv from the same e-mail address used to subscribe to the news/offers.

The Data Subject is informed that the Data Processors used for this purpose are couriers (in cases where the Data Subject orders the product after receiving an offer) and the company that sends the emails.

The Data Controller confirms that the personal data listed are only collected directly from the Data Subject and are not collected from other sources.

  • For the purpose of administering requests, data will be stored for 2 (two) calendar years from the date of submission;
  • For direct marketing purposes,personal data is stored for 5 (five) calendar years from the date of submission of the data for this purpose.

We aim not to store outdated or redundant information and to ensure that personal data and other information about our customers is up-to-date and correct.

6. Provision of Personal Data

SIA Printpack Service provides your data:

  • With your consent, to clearly identified recipients;
  • To institutions or organisations as required by law;
  • To other third parties with your consent, which may be obtained on a case-by-case basis.

III. Personal data security measures followed by SIA Printpack Service

SIA The activities of SIA Printpack Service on the internet comply with all the requirements of international legislation, European Union legislation and the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

When processing personal data of Data Subjects, SIA Printpack Service complies with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and has implemented appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data, to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, as well as against any other unlawful processing.

IV. Implementation procedure of the rights of the Data Subjects

The Data Subject has the following rights:

  • To contact SIA Printpack Service to request information about your personal data processed by SIA Printpack Service (“right to be informed” and “right of access”);
  • To request SIA Request Printpack Service to rectify or erase your personal data if you have established that the data is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate (“right to rectification and right to erasure”);
  • To approach SIA Printpack Service with a request to stop processing your personal data if you establish that personal data is being processed unlawfully or fraudulently (“right to suspend”);
  • To approach SIA Printpack Service with a request to object to the further processing of your personal data (“right to object”);
  • To approach SIA Printpack Service Ltd with a request to restrict the processing of your personal data where the processing is unlawful (“right of restriction”);
  • To approach SIA Printpack Service with a request to erase your data when personal data have been unlawfully processed or are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed (“right to be forgotten”);
  • To approach SIA Printpack Service with a request to provide information about personal data processed by SIA Printpack Service and to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format (“right to data portability”).
